Chuck Goudie Honored in Chicago

Chuck GoudieIt was the ideal honor for one of the Windy City’s most well known Spartans. When Chuck Goudie ascended to the podium in the historic D.A.R. Hall at the Chicago Cultural Center, he raised his right hand to acknowledge the standing ovation from nearly 200 Spartan faithful. And there on his ring finger was the symbol of his 1977 telecommunications degree from the MSU College of Communications Arts and Sciences. “I hold the microphone with this hand,” he told the crowd, “and for almost 30 years every time I’ve been on television, viewers have seen my class ring.” MORE>>

For those of us who bleed Green blood, nothing is better than a vanity license plate with a Spartan S on it. And for Darrell , it’s also his special way of keeping the WMSN legend alive.
